ONE THOUSAND HITS FOR
ANGELEX!!!
We've finally got a thousand visitors to this
great site! Hurrah! Thanks to all who have supported Angelex and
to those who have motivated myself through the past five months.
At its inception, Angelex, was merely a break off of The Husky
Gathering--since then, the site's gained some bit of character,
and a lot more content. Still, we've got a lot more to go until
we're up to Angelex's full potential! I hope to tap potential
soon, and I'm setting up a goal! At around the same time next year
(9/1/03), Angelex will have 10,000 hits. Impossible? C'est non! To
the journey to 10,000!
Here's an old Angelex article documenting the
100th hit.

"C is for Cockring"
Reviewed!
By Skyrien - 8/14/2002
Oh my God, Lucipherious has done it again. In a
wicked re-rendering of the "C is for Cockring" -- a severely perverted parody of the original
Cookie Monster song, this time, Ms. Hilbiliy sings along with the
words! A lot of time has been put into this (what kind of life
does this guy lead?) and it pays in nasty laughs.
For the effort of creating such rare amusement, and
the humor that came along with it, 3
Globes for "C is for Cockring". I'm sure in
the future we can expect more great things from Lucipherious!

06.03.02
- The Lord of the Rings Movie Outing - For all those who haven't
seen it, I (Alex) will be taking people to the Ogden 6 Theater to

05.14.02 - Dinotopia Parts 1 & 2: Quick
look! (3.5/4 globes)
Pros: Amazing scenery and graphics worthy
of a feature film; intriguing philosophical values -- a visionary
utopia, a balance with humans and nature that even Daniel Quinn
(Ishmael) would approve of. Fascinating storyline. Vastly improved
acting in part 2. Alice Krige is an awesome actress this time
assuming the believable role of a matriarch. Talking dinos not
nearly as bad as assumed -- Zippo in fact is pretty appealing. It's
all good. No Jar Jar Binks here.
Cons: Horrible acting on part of the
two 18-year-old main actors Tyron Leitso (Karl) and Wentworth Miller
(David) in part 1.
Overall: A likable fantasy story that for
once depicts dinosaurs coexisting with humans. Disney and Hallmark
put in a lot of financial effort ($85 million), and it truly shows.
They got most of the stuff right (excepting maybe the acting of the
two brothers) to bring us a story worth remembering and is so far,
almost worthy of the Seal of Excellence. We can't wait for Part 3 of
3, which airs today at 7 PM.
05.03.02
- Spiderman quick look -
(3 globes)
Pros: Amazing city and fighting SFX; Tobey's acting; Kirsten
Dunst's physique.
Cons: Kirsten Dunst's acting --especially
in the end; sometimes far-fetched; no cool Twin Tower scene as
promised in the old trailers; inconsistent quality
Overall: One of the best comic-book-to-
movie renditions to date, and yet still falls short of being an
awesome movie.

We are seeing Spiderman: The Movie this Friday (May 3) .
Since we are bored, anyone who wants to join may contact us.

A character in this world named "Jason J. Liu" has
created a site purely devoted to Freespace and Freespace 2, both
awesome space combat games. Though we cannot say the same for
his site as of yet (we give him 2 globes out of four--but getting better), we'll leave the final evaluation
up to you. His site can be found at: http://fs2heaven.netfirms.com.
The Angelex Sanctuary has no affiliation whatsoever with fs2heaven.

'40's Dance ends. I personally think the ticket prices were too high
($10 maybe would sound better). A lot of ppl didn't know how to
dance jazz for jack, but it was fun nevertheless. The NNHS Jazz band
was awesome, as were the singers. Click here for more! FULL

We attempted to get into Blade II but a "guard" was
standing in front of the door and escorting any movie hoppers and
underage viewers out of the theater. The SOB prevented us from
seeing B2, so we were forced to see The Rookie, a rated
G Disney movie about baseball. Don't expect a review on this movie.
